I’ve recently participated in a live talk organized by Mizzima news, one of the well-known media outlets in Myanmar. We discussed the current situation briefly due to the shortage of time (although I had so many things to discuss adequately).
During the discussion, I focused on online learning amid the outbreak, since schools and universities are all closed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
I shared the experience of my Myanmar friends who are currently studying in China. It was mostly regarding how online learning is used effectively in China, providing a digital platform for both teachers and students.
According to schools and universities, there are different types of online learning. Second semester has already started online in all Chinese universities. I’ve also heard that even kindergarteners are now being taught online.
Online teaching in China is not a new thing. Years ago, China started some online teaching programs for students living in remote areas where there is lack of teachers.
It is said that teachers get intensive training before they start to teach students online.
To make the best of your quarantine time, you can start using your online time effectively and learn a new skill. Many of my friends are now studying new things such as gardening, making traditional snacks, and cooking. Some of them watch movies, read books and learn a new language.
I would like to kindly advise all of my friends to save the world by staying home as much as possible. Stay healthy, eat healthily, exercise regularly. One last thing, think about this time as a perfect opportunity for you to learn a new thing that’ve you never thought about learning before.

က်ေနာ္ကေတာ့ တ႐ုတ္မွာ ေက်ာင္းတက္ေနတဲ့ ျမန္မာသူငယ္ခ်င္းမိတ္ေဆြေတြအေၾကာင္း ျပန္ၿပီး မွ်ေ၀ျဖစ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ အဓိကကေတာ့ တ႐ုတ္ႏိုင္ငံမွာ အြန္လိုင္းကေန စာသင္ၾကားေရးကို ဘယ္လိုထိထိေရာက္ေရာက္လုပ္ေပးေနလဲဆိုတာကို ေျပာျဖစ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။
ေက်ာင္းအေပၚမူတည္ၿပီး အြန္လိုင္းကေနသင္ၾကားတဲ့ပံုစံေတြလည္း ကြဲလြဲမႈေတာ့ ရွိပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ တူတာတစ္ခုကေတာ့ တ႐ုတ္ႏိုင္ငံမွာ အခုဆိုရင္ တကၠသိုလ္ဒုတိယႏွစ္၀က္အတန္းေတြကို အြန္လိုင္းကေန စၿပီး သင္ေပးေနပါၿပီ။ မူႀကိဳကေလးေတြကိုေတာင္ အြန္လိုင္းကေနသင္ေပးေနတယ္လို႔ သိရပါတယ္။

တ႐ုတ္ႏိုင္ငံက တခ်ဳိ႕ေသာေက်ာင္းေတြမွာဆိုရင္လည္း အခုကာလမွာ ေက်ာင္းသားေတြကို အြန္လိုင္းကေန စာမသင္ေပးခင္ ဆရာေတြကို အရင္ဆံုး ေလ့က်င့္သင္တန္းေပးတာမ်ဳိးေတြလည္း လုပ္ေပးေသးတယ္လို႔ သိရပါတယ္။
အခုလို ကမာၻ႔ကပ္ေရာဂါႀကီးျဖစ္ေနတုန္းမွာ အဆိုးထဲက အျမတ္ထုတ္ဖို႔ကေတာ့ အားလပ္တဲ့အခ်ိန္မွာ အြန္လိုင္းကိုအက်ဳိးရွိရွိအသံုးခ်ၿပီး အသစ္အသစ္ေသာ ပညာရပ္ေတြကို ေလ့လာဖို႔ပါပဲ။ က်ေနာ့္အသိမိတ္ေဆြေတြထဲမွာဆိုရင္လည္း တခ်ဳိ႕က အပင္စိုက္တာေလးေတြ ေလ့လာၿပီး လက္ေတြ႔ စမ္းသပ္ၾကတယ္၊ တခ်ဳိ႕ကလည္း မုန္႔လုပ္နည္း၊ ဟင္းခ်က္နည္းေလးေတြ ေလ့လာၿပီး လုပ္စားၾကည့္ေနၾကတယ္။ တခ်ဳိ႕ကလည္း ႐ုပ္ရွင္ဇာတ္ကားေတြၾကည့္တာ၊ စာအုပ္ေတြဖတ္တာ၊ ဘာသာစကားအသစ္တစ္ခုခုကို ေလ့လာတာမ်ဳိးေတြ လုပ္ၾကပါတယ္။
မိတ္ေဆြမ်ားအားလံုးကို ရင္းႏွီးစြာအႀကံျပဳခ်င္တာကေတာ့ အခုကာလမွာ တတ္ႏိုင္သေလာက္ အိမ္ထဲမွာပဲေနၿပီး ကမၻာႀကီးကို ကယ္တင္ၾကဖို႔ပါပဲ။ အိမ္မွာေနရင္း က်န္းမာေအာင္ေနပါ၊ က်န္းမာေအာင္စားပါ၊ ေလ့က်င့္ခန္းလုပ္ပါ။ ကိုယ္ေလ့လာဖို႔ စိတ္ကူးထားတဲ့ ပညာရပ္တစ္ခုကို အခုအခ်ိန္မွာ စၿပီး ေလ့လာဖို႔ အခ်ိန္ေကာင္းပဲဆိုတာ ေျပာရင္းနဲ႔ နိဂံုးခ်ဳပ္ပါရေစခင္ဗ်ား။
