During 12th ASEAN Skills Competition in Bangkok, Thailand, New Technical Talent Cultivation Forum was held with guests, leaders, teachers, and friends from different ASEAN countries among the attendees. The main topic of the forum is “Yalong Silk Road College Promoting International Industry – Education Integration” presented by Mr. Chen Jiquan, Yalong Intelligent Chairman.

The forum divided into 3 parts: First is the background of Yalong Silk Road College. Second is the profound friendship between Yalong and ASEAN laying a solid foundation for Yalong Silk Road College. Third is the Actual Implementation of the Yalong Silk Road College.
The Background of Yalong Silk Road College:
Mr. Chen Jiquan said that the history, civilization, and generations of friendly relationship between China and ASEAN countries have made ASEAN the most important neighbors of China for ‘Belt and Road’ initiative. Therefore, colleges and universities from China and ASEAN countries gathered to establish the Yalong Silk Road College to integrate enterprises, industries, colleges, and universities. It was such a great opportunity to strengthen the wider, higher, deeper international education cooperation and exchange between China and ASEAN with promoting the ‘Belt and Road’ education cooperation as well.
The Profound friendship between Yalong and ASEAN laying a solid foundation for Yalong Silk Road College:
Since 2005, Yalong has carried out friendly exchanges and communication with ASEAN countries. Since then, Yalong and ASEAN countries started to know each other and lay a solid foundation for the construction of Yalong Silk Road College. Yalong has also been working with countries along the ‘One Belt One Road’ together with Chinese universities, industries, and enterprises to integrate new technology, provide technical skill training services, and the most important, jointly promote the development of a community of shared future for mankind.

Mr. Chen Jiquan reiterated that the start of Yalong Silk Road College is an important practice to realize the innovative development of international industry-education integration.
