Do Chinese like selfie?
Of course! Many Chinese people are photography or selfie enthusiasts, and they are also fond of making poses and gestures.
The most classic one is world-popular “V” gesture, which always goes with the happy shout of “茄子！”(“qiezi”, the same function as “cheese!”) in taking a group photo. Recently, a new gesture called “比心”(“bixin”,show their love and joy ) goes viral. Meanwhile, some other poses popular in selfies and gestures with individual style can be seen in group photos as well.
