Hunan calling – ASEAN journalists explore China | Through The Lens

Themed on “industrial transformation and international cooperation in central China”, the China-ASEAN Media Journey on the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road 2017 kicked off on April 17. Twenty ASEAN journalists from twenty mainstream media outlets, including Brunei’s Borneo Bulletin, Cambodia’s Khmer Times, Singapore’s Zaobao, the Malaysian National News Agency and Lao National Television, were invited to visit China’s Hunan and Jiangxi provinces.

Their first stop was a two-day trip to Changsha, the provincial capital of Hunan, from April 18-19.
